Welcome to Bar M Paints and Quarter Horses

Located 20 miles west of  Weyburn, Saskatchewan, Canada, just south of Highway #13 we have been involved with equine ranching for nearly 20 years. As a family We all love horses and we are fortunate to have been able to show and compete at rodeos all over western Canada. Our goal in our breeding program has been to produce the kind of horses that we ourselves would be proud to ride(color doesn't hurt either!) We have been fortunate enough to have raised horses with the confirmation and disposition that we have been striving to achieve.

Some of our broodmares have all ready had a career as a performance horse. Dude's Hollywood Doll and Sugar Bar Caro carried Robyn to the National High School Rodeo Finals for three years in a row. Both of these good mares helped Robyn to win the title of Girl's All Around Champion in the Sask. High School Rodeo Association. In 2001 we were very proud of Robyn as she successfully showed Tuffy's Conquest to the High Point Open Horse in the Saskatchewan Paint Horse Club. November 13 - Tressa, Robyn and Dallas compete at the World Barrel Racing Finals in Waco, Texas.

Justene Metcalfe in her new pickup. Zack called shotgun and got the first ride!!

Robyn, Tressa, Dallas along with friends Debbie and Justene Metcalfe and Andrea Graham travelled al the way to Waco Texas to run at the World Barrel Racing Finals and the trip was well worth it. Both Tressa and Robyn made money in the Oxygen jackpots and Tressa placed in the State Incentive side pot.

And the most exciting part ... Justene winning the 3D and coming home with a brand new Dodge pickup!!! Congratulations goes out to Justene and her horse Manitoba Bred Heza Smooth As Silk.

May 9-11, 2008 - A Ghost Dash N Dude (by VF A Ghost Can Dash) and Tressa are money winners at the Barrel Bash-Sherburn , MN!!! Dash placed 2nd in the 2D in the first go of the Futurity and 3rd in the 2D Average. Dash and Tressa also placed in the Open jackpot on Saturday evening.
